Artisan Keycap Refund & Return Policy
At Techie Setups, every keycap is handcrafted with care. Because of the nature of artisan keycaps, please review our policy carefully before purchasing.
Returns
We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your item.
To be eligible for a return:
- The keycap must be unused and unmounted
- The keycap must be in original condition, with no signs of wear
- The item must be returned in its original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
To start a return, contact us at support@techiesetups.com.
If approved, we will provide return instructions and a shipping label.
Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items
Because artisan keycaps are handcrafted and often produced in limited quantities, the following items are non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or defective:
- Custom or personalized keycaps
- Limited-run or made-to-order pieces
- keycaps that have been damaged by user
Fitment Disclaimer
Our artisan keycaps are designed for MX-style switches unless otherwise stated.
We are not responsible for incompatibility with non-MX switches, keyboards with non-standard layouts, or stabilizer interference. Please verify compatibility before purchasing.
Damages & Defects
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your keycap arrives:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@techiesetups.comwith photos of the issue. We’ll evaluate the situation and make it right.
Exchanges
Due to the limited nature of artisan keycaps, direct exchanges are not guaranteed.
The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the original (if eligible) and place a new order.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
Handmade Variations
Each artisan keycap is handmade. Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are normal and expected, and are not considered defects.
